Xander Harris Street/School Library
Xander frowned as he patted his shirt, getting the dust out from the vampire he just dusted. Looking around Xander could only shake his head, the world was a new place, a horrible place, and Xander couldn't help feeling like it was partly his fault, maybe if he had...just...distracted Angel for a few seconds...Buffy might have gotten him...they might have survived to save them from this hell...
Xander walked through the school, heading for the library...that was there new command post, and sometimes Wesley and Willow were there, coordinating there 'battle groups'...usually just a few ex-high school students thrown together to patrol and keep the vampire populations down...no matter how many they killed, there were always more.
Then Wesley had set up a rotating guard of the more gun-savy groups to guard the roads, and the perimeter of the town. For now, Xander was just hoping to find Wil and talk to her...

Wesley School Library
Wesley was tired. It seemed that he was always tired nowadays. With Giles and Buffy gone the task of defending human against the forces of darkness fell upon himself and these kids. His slayer was no where to be found. He feared the worse; that she had been killed but somehow he knew that wasn't the case.
He took off his glasses, sensing the migraine that was to come and rubbed the bridge of his nose before he replaced them. The dark circles around his eyes were growing more visible by the day. Wes hadn't had a descent night's sleep since he came to Sunnydale.
Turned to Willow, he will himself to not look as tired as he felt and flashed her a warm smile, that said plainly he thought she was doing a great job.
"I want more experienced fighters to patrol the graveyards," he said the redheaded witch. The novices can patrol the less dangerous sites. Have we heard anything from the Watcher in New York about his slayer, yet?"
Wesley had left several messages on the man's phone, expressing the importance of his slayer's presence in Sunnydale. He had yet to get back to him.
Mal: Yeah. That went well. Inara: You call this going well? Mal: We got the goods, didn't we? Inara: Yes, but- Mal: Then I call this a win. What's the problem? Inara: Shall I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Kasilla Outside Town
Kasilla stood next to a road sign 'Welcome to Sunnydale!'. Kasilla grimaced a little as she looked at the town. This ragged, dank, ugly little hole had been able to stand against the demons? Kasilla for just a second imagined ugly, hideous, mangled bodies of people that she had seen stand against the demons, the ones that gave in...it was quick, it was good for them, but the ones who had fought... Kasilla shivered at the memory, it was too much blood, even for a vampire.
Kasilla sucked the last bit of smoke out of her cigarette before throwing it to the ground. She had to find another vampire, some old one named Padrieck, her new demon over-seer had charged her to assist him in bleeding this town dry. Kasilla sighed as she headed into town...these demons...they de-glorified the kill, they didn't care about control, or pleasure, they justed cared about death.
Padrieck School Library
Padrieck stood on the roof, looking down at two humans, a red-headed woman, and a rather frail looking man, then looked down at the small talisman in his hand...it was supposed to lead him to the greatest magickal force in this town, which, apparently, was this tiny little whip of a girl, not even one-tenth the age of Padrieck himself. Padrieck sighed and shook his head, magick was so fickle in this aspect...to those who worked centuries for it, it would not show it self once, but to this, tiny, weak little girl, it showered itslef upon 'till it was quite nearly blinding.
And Padrieck would have to kill her.
Padrieck frowned as he thought about that notion...this woman and her incredible power would have to be snuffed out, before getting to show the world what power really was. The demon over-seers must have known she was powerful, known that she would be a threat even to them, to send him with this talisman.
Padrieck smiled as he thought of another consequence, one that would really stick it to the demon over-seers...what if Padrieck failed, and in attacking this woman with her subliminal power, he angered her, to the point where she would kill Padrieck, and then have unlocked her power enough to wipe out the demonic hordes...Padrieck liked that notion...almost more than living under the demonic rule.

Faith Welcome to Sunnydale
Faith was on borrowed time... She needed to get to the High School...
She smiled at the thought; it was kind of ironic. All these years she spent ditching school, now she was on her way back to one. But that was where her new watcher was; some cat named Wyndam-Price. From what she heard he was a pounce. But Faith couldn't believe it and she had to see for herself. Because anyone who has stayed alive this long in a place like Sunnydale, had to be... she shrugged... less pounce-like...
Deciding to make her presence known to the demon community was also on Faith's mind. She wanted to let them know that a new sheriff was in town so to speak... so she hit up the most logical place for vamp/demon activity... the cemetery.
Faith leaned against a tombstone and yelled. "Any vamps around? I'm a poor defenseless girl alone in a graveyard. I hope I don't run into any vampires!"
Mal: Yeah. That went well. Inara: You call this going well? Mal: We got the goods, didn't we? Inara: Yes, but- Mal: Then I call this a win. What's the problem? Inara: Shall I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Kasilla An eventful night
Kasilla strolled along, rubbing her hand on imaginary flowers, humming to herself...
"Any vamps around? I'm a poor defenseless girl alone in a graveyard. I hope I don't run into any vampires!"
Kasilla crunched her brow quizically...this Sunnydale place sure was strange, where Kasilla had been, humans never yelled for vampires.
Kasilla entered the dank, dirty cemetary, and saw the brunette vixen that shouted out for death to take her, and called to her...."You know, its generally not a good idea to..."KAsilla looked around, even the dirt in this place was dirty, Kasilla looked back at the young woman..."Are you really hanging out in here? This place is...well, its just not friendly to girls as pretty us...lets go somewhere else!" Kasilla smiled slightly at the girl...there was something strange about her...maybe something powerful...maybe something she could use against the demons...

Faith Spidey Sense Tingling...
She didn't think it would be that easy, and yet it was. She felt the twinge in her gut before Faith heard the vampire walk up behind her. "You know, its generally not a good idea to..."
Faith awaited the witty pun as she turned around to face the vampire; figuring that would be the time spring her attack. There was a certain finesse to slaying; there had to be. Or else it just got boring.
"Are you really hanging out in here? This place is...well, its just not friendly to girls as pretty us...lets go somewhere else!"
No witty pun... The Slayer was puzzled. Weren't vampires famous for their sarcastic retorts?
Faith returned the vamp's smile in kind though, cocking her eyebrow.
"Oh, but I like the graveyards; most of the people I know are six-feet-under. And 'sides it's wicked quiet, you know. No one around to hear you scream..."
She paused her grin growing wider.
"Except that you did... So either, I'm just bad at my job and you're just as screwed up as I am... OR I'm the Slayer and you're a vamp..."
Mal: Yeah. That went well. Inara: You call this going well? Mal: We got the goods, didn't we? Inara: Yes, but- Mal: Then I call this a win. What's the problem? Inara: Shall I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Kasilla Thoughts a'brewin'
"Except that you did... So either, I'm just bad at my job and you're just as screwed up as I am... OR I'm the Slayer and you're a vamp..."
Kasilla gulped just slightly...so...she was special...Slayer Special. Kasilla didnt want to fight her, but she didnt know if she could use her.
"Well...yeah, Im a vampire, but...Im not like those other vampires, I mean, look at me, you dont get this pretty from eating people, I have a strict diet of no-human blood, I mean, I probably couldnt even hurt a person, you know?"
Kasilla looked around, there was no good escape route, all open terrain, and this Slayer would probably catch her, so, Kasilla decided to do one of the things she did best...talk. "You know, I'm kinda like, looking for someone to help me with a problem I have, and its the same problem everyone else has, so, if we like, worked together, we could probably handle it, you know, and then I could just, go away, you know?"
Padrieck To be Known
Padrieck watched as they discussed, conversated...ahh, to be alive, Padrieck remembered that feeling, from so long ago, but he had traded it for the life of this immortal shell. Padrieck spun the latch on one of the panes of glass, and jumped down to the floor, near to the two would-be demon slayers. Padrieck looked at the young man, barely glancing at him before turning to the red-headed woman, the woman with such power at her fingertips, that she could likely eradicate Padrieck with a thought. Smiling at this beauty of power, Padrieck bowed to her..."Greetings to you, my human adversaries, I am Padrieck, and I am here, to kill you, but, as I would like to be sure that chivalry is not yet dead, I have come to show you the face of your enemy, and to truthfully wish the both of you, the best of luck, for too the victor, shall go the power."
Padrieck turned and started walking out the door, at least, now they could prepare. They would prepare, and Padrieck would try to kill them, and hopefully, he would fail, and the witch would find her power, and kill Padrieck, and then kill these demons, these bastards of hell.
