Reid Garwin Nicky's - Bar
He had taken a seat at the bar, leaving the booth to the others. He'd gotten bored of just sitting around and watching everyone else have fun... so he'd gone and gotten himself a beer, so that he could still watch, but further away.
Every now and then he'd glance over his shoulder, chuckling with a shake of his head as he watched Tyler dance with the girls. Reid was undoubtedly a little jealous. He had the balls for alot of things, but dancing wasn't one of them.
Then he'd look back at the beer that he had ordered, take a chug, and idlely play with the condensation building on the outside of the bottle.
It was during one of these glances that he saw Kendra making her way over, and he took such a hasty chug that he nearly choked on it. Patting his chest, he wiped a hand across his face and then pretended like he hadn't seen her.
He didn't get it, but something was up about these girls... besides the fact that they were girls... and that they kinda made him nervous, but he, of course, would never admit to that.
Turning his head to look at Kendra again, he waited until she was close before speaking. "Tyler bore you already?" he asked with a sly smile as he nodded over at her. "Though I must say, he's quite the party animal tonight."
Jannette Parker Nicky's - Table w/ Pogue
She watched him as he pulled out a chair for her before taking a seat himself. He's such a gentleman, she thought to herself, giving him a shy, but bright smile as she sat down. He sure knew how to treat a girl, that was for sure.
"Yeah, Ipswich is a small and quiet little place. Good for transferring away from a hectic situation.."
And oh boy, what a smile... okay, Jane, focus.
She nodded as he spoke, his words making her feel a little more reassured and at ease. It was only natural to feel odd and nostalgic in a new town, but now it seemed like things could only get better. She didn't have a reason to think otherwise just yet.
"So... what do you guys do here for fun?" she asked him, her eyes glued on him as she hoped that her sorry excuse for a conversation wouldn't bore him to death. "I mean, when it's not pouring outside," she added with a small chuckle as she glanced towards the door when a couple walked in.
It looked like it was still raining cats and dogs out there, so to speak.

Caleb Danvers
"Just as long as you keep your own hocus pocus to yourself, witchy boy.."
Caleb raised his hands out in front of him.
"I promise."
He smiled as he watched her break. She was good at pool magic or no magic, she definitely had something.
"Stripes for you, honey."
He smiled and winked back at her.
"Got it."
He grabbed his stick and aimed it behind the cue ball toward a striped ball. He hit it and the ball went into the left corner pocket. He didn't need magic to know he was good at pool.
Jennifer Corey
"Unless you would like to lead.."
Jennifer laughed but allowed her body to melt a little into his. He was sweet and smelled nice so she was willing to dance with him.
"I think I'll leave the leading up to you."
He eyes glanced toward Kendra and sighed.
"I'm more of a follower."
It was true. She always felt like she was sticking to her friends like glue. She knew that if they didn't share the whole magic thing they probably wouldn't be her friend. Kendra was fiery but sweet when she wanted to be. Gwen was smoking hot and a guy magnet. She'd have no trouble getting friends, people were just drawn to her. Jannette had the sweet girl next door thing going for her, she was just so nice you couldn't hate her.
Jennifer sighed and bit her lip as she rested her head on Tyler's shoulder. She was the odd one out. The other three just had an aura about them that made people want to be their friend. What did she have to offer other than being extremely annoying?
Kendra Proctor
"Tyler bore you already? Though I must say, he's quite the party animal tonight."
She looked over at Reid and grimaced. She raised an eyebrow as she waved the bartender over. The song changed to a slow lilt and she turned in horror. Jen was dancing with Tyler... slowly. She sighed. Jen just had that cuteness that drew people in. She didn't know how she did it.
"Not so much "bored" as I am "tired."
She sighed and sat on a bar stool as the bartender handed her a beer. She watched the two dance and sighed.
"I'm not a very good dancer, plus it takes all my energy to keep up with Jenn. How about you? What makes you hang out by the bar by yourself when you could be out there chatting it up with 'Hot babes' or something."
She shuddered at the thought of being hit on. It wasn't the fact that guys repulsed her as a matter of fact she found them fairly attractive. In fact the blonde sitting next to her definitely hit her radar. She'd never say that though. It was just the fact that her friends and her had been hurt so many times. She gulped her drink.
